The Boy Downstairs, Hotel California (The Eagles)

Zosia Mamet

Today I watched the movie trailer of The Boy Downstairs, and listened to Hotel California. Both of them are great. I want to watch The Boy Downstairs. I think it is a romance movie. I can't understand the content of this movie, but I think it must be an interesting story. Also, I like Hotel California. I thought when I hear this song once, I can't forget it. Maybe I will sing it today! However, I don't know what kind of music it is. At fiast, I thought "They only introduce a hotel. It is such a funny song." I know it isn't now. I want to know why they made the song, and what they think about the song.

BR 2-18: A Pretty Face

'Right!' Zoe sais. 'Do you remember it? "Zoe Baker acts the part of Juliet's mother. She has a pretty face and she speaks her words well. But she is a young girl in an older woman's costume, and we all know it." Nice face or no nice face, I hate him!'

Today I read "A Pretty Face". I thought it is a funny story. However, I don't like the main character, Zoe. This is because, she complained the article about her acting, and she hated Mike Morrison who wrote the article. I thought she should listen to advices from spectators even if they have a little knowledge about acting. If she accepts some advices, she may develop her acting. I thtought her way of thinking is so childish.
By the way, I am really interested in acting. I like to watch movies and dramas, and I sometimes act on stage. Of course I'm not be in any entertainment production agencies. When I was in kindergarten and junior high school, I've acted on stage three times. I was nervous, but I enjoyed acting. I really like acting, so I thoughgt I would belong in a play club when I entered high school. After all, I didn't belong in a play club. I love only watching dramas or movies. I think Korean dramas are more interesting than Japanese dramas. Of course I love Japanese dramas, but Korean dramas are so funny, and I always think I want to watch the next part of the story soon. When you have free time, you should watch them.

BR 2-17: The Prince and the Pauper

The prince had a lonely life. He thought Tom's life sounded fun. Tom was very surprised. "I would give anything to be dressed in your fine clothes," he said "I want to be like you!" "Then let's change clothes!" said the prince. So they did!

Today I read "The Prince and the Pauper". It was an interesting story. After I finished reading this story, I thought people want something they don't have. The prince wants a lively and happy life, but the pauper wants a rich life. However, finally, they notice that original lifes suited them. People sometimes say "If I had a beautiful appearance," or "If I were such a rich man,", but I think present life suit them. I think people must be satisfied only they dream their ideas.
By the way, I have heard that there are 2 people who exactly alike with you. It is an interesting rumor, isn't it? When I heard it, I thought I want to meet a person who exactly alike with me. I'm looking for the people, but I've never seen. They may have exactry alike character as me. I want to talk with them! If you find people who exactry alike with me, please tell me soon!
